Like combo classes, multi classes are created by adding two or more classes to an element. The difference is that the classes that make up the multi classes already exist independently. So the resulting CSS properties are created by addition, as opposed to combo classes, for which the properties apply to the combination of two or more classes.

Naming convention

There is no defined naming convention for multi classes since it will depend on the classes that make it up. They are usually built with multiple functional classes, or functional classes that are added to some other type.
